Remember The Fallen 5K

Welcome to our 5th Annual Remember the Fallen 5k!! The 5K run/walk race will be held on May 18th, 2019 and is hosted by the South Dakota Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 1. This event is a way to remember those Law Enforcement Officers who have lost their lives serving their communities, as well to say thank you for those who continue to protect our communities every day!
This year's event will come at the end of National Police Week. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. Currently, tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the world converge on Washington, DC to participate in a number of planned events which honor those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
The Course
The 5K Walk/Run will be run on the scenic Sioux Falls Bike Trail.
We will run again this year at Riverdale Park, 2000 E 24th Street, Sioux Falls, SD.

Early Bird (Thru March 1st, 11:59PM) $25
Standard (Thru April 1st, 11:59PM) $30
Late (Thru May 16th, 11:59PM) $35

All Registrations include an event T-Shirt!
Register by May 1st, 11:59 PM to guarantee a shirt and size.
T-Shirts are not guaranteed for online registrations after May 1st and Same Day registrations.
Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pickup will be held at the Law Enforcement Center on Friday, May 17th from 4-6PM. Packets can also be picked up from 7:30 to 8:45 race morning. In person registration will be available at race morning and during early packet pickup.

Timing and Results
The Remember The Fallen 5K will be Chip Timed by Race Place Chip Timing. Results will be updated throughout the race and can be viewed immediately after crossing the finish line on tablet kiosks and a scrolling results screen.

Refund Policy
The Race Organizers reserve the right to cancel this event at any time due to inclement weather and/or safety concerns. In any instance the event WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED.
Substitutions may be considered upon request. No Refunds.
